How to Prep Your Cabinets For Restoration or Reconditioning

Ready to prep your kitchen or bathroom cabinets for your scheduled restoration or reconditioning? Following these guidelines will enable us to do our job efficiently and produce the best, longest-lasting results. Your home is of great value and importance to us and we take pride in doing the job right.

Thank you in advance for your assistance in preparing your kitchen.

Here are some ways you can help:

STEP 1

Remove everything from the counters and off the top of the upper cabinets and move it to a safe place.

STEP 2

You DO NOT need to empty either cabinets or drawers as we can access all finished wood areas to be restored without disturbing the contents.

STEP 3

Hardware: Please have any replacement knobs, handles, pulls and hinges available to us the day of your service. If the new hardware does not match your existing holes please notify us in advance to confirm compatibility. If it is helpful, we can supply matching hinges – please call to discuss. View our recommended locations to find a wide selection of hardware on the right (below on mobile device).

STEP 4

Once we have completed the restoration your kitchen will be usable immediately although there may be some residual odor.
